This esteemed and very busy international law firm’s Singapore office are looking to hire a **corporate energy** associate for their transactional team.

You may be Singapore, England & Wales, or Australia admitted, and ideally have developed strong experience from a recognised corporate practice on the ground in Singapore or wider South East Asia. The work will be focussed on private M&A in the energy sector but with a focus on the renewable energy sector, an area that is booming in the region. While prior experience with such deals would be highly advantageous, those with strong corporate experience in other sectors, but a firm interest in focussing in that area would be very much of interest. A strong academic record and training will be needed.

The kind of personality that this opportunity will suit will be someone with initiative and willingness to be hands on with matters and show intellectual curiosity. Asian language skills such as Mandarin or Indonesian would be helpful, though not required.
