**About the role**:
The incumbent will be leading a team and will be part of a larger team within the IFF department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.

**What you will be doing**
- Identify possible dangerous goods (DG) goods rendered to Bollore without declaration
- Substantial knowledge on cargo commodity as pr IATA rules and regulations
- Check and ensure DG goods are declare and packed in accordance with IATA DG Regulation
- Respond to CS or customer’s complaints & enquiries promptly and provide possible suggestions/solutions or assist with recovery actions where possible
- Ensure compliance with customer’s Standard Operating Procedures & Work Instruction
- Check on AWB/HAWB and all other necessary shipping documents and feedback to customer and overseas agent if any discrepancy/non-compliance issue
- Good knowledge of flight routes & visibility of airline costing
- Interface and work closely with multiple internal party parties including procurement, planning, road, operation, warehouse, vendor etc to smooth process on daily operation.
- Back up and cross support other Air Export team members
- Ensure and trigger pre-alerts and necessary electronic submission / interface to relevant stakeholders for the assigned air export shipments
- Handle mishandled, cross-labelled shipments, damaged and lost cargo
- Upon receiving Planning Load packing list from the Planning Team, to coordinate with warehouse and transfer teams for all BUP and Charter Shipments to prepare AWB and Airline Labels
- Maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Lead / guide and train the team on daily job scope and being the first point of escalation
- Resolve discrepancies through team effort by working with team mates on resolution
- Monitors and work closely with team to achieve monthly GM targets, JIA and CA KPI
- Suggest improvements where required, through discussion with team and proposal to direct reporting manager prior to implementation
- To represent and participate in any internal improvement projects
- Timely escalation of issues / concerns that requires broader attention and resolution
- Maintain the Air Export Team administration of files and documentations
- Take charge of Supplier’s invoice disputes
- Perform recovering support steps with IT when system, server, network down
- Conduct interviews and recruit junior staff
- Take on all other ad-hoc tasks delegated by Manager

**Team Management**
- Ensure and monitor team compliance to the Bollore’s Code of Conduct and Company’s regulations
- Ensure team understanding and implementation on Bollore’s Value in daily work behaviours
- Plan and monitor team performance including give coaching and counselling needed to deliver expected outcomes
- Plan and monitor team development together with HR Division
- Ensure updated Job Description availability for the team by coordinating with HR Division
- Ensure all changes in Department / Section communicated properly to the team

**Requirements**:

- Diploma with minimum 5 years of experience in freight-forwarding (airfreight) is advantageous
- Knowledge of airfreight shipping documentations, operation procedures, and INCOTERMS 2020 rule
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with leading a team of at least 3 direct staff
- Able to handle stressful situation in a calm matter
- Willing to be contactable 24 / 7 via mobile to assist in handling issues if there’s any needs arises
- Having personal attributes of perseverance and a go-getter, able to motivate team.
