Implement the organization's vision and mission in innovation research by working closely with various innovative companies, Head Office in Japan, and regional subsidiaries.
- Responsible for leading the research and innovation team. Ensuring that research results are of good quality and consistent.
- Liaise with subsidiary offices in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region, and explore the possibility of collaboration in the area of innovation.
- The successful applicant will be expected to attend regional innovation conferences in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.
- Responsible for establishing Asia Pacific quality standards and driving team results in innovation research across the region.
- Develop and execute project plans for new research endeavors. Identifying potential growth areas for further research.
- At least a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accountancy, science, or law
- At least 10 years of experience working in life insurance companies
- 5 years and above experience at the management level in life insurance companies with a proven track record of proficiency in managing internal stakeholders and clients
- Business level Japanese proficiency of JLPT level N1 is required to communicate strategies for life insurance and asset management markets to the company’s Head Office in Japan
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
- Intermediate proficiency in MS office
