- Hagen Lee- Co-Founder, Director StriveX is partnering with a regional Bank who is looking for a Loan Operations Specialist to join them on a 12-months contract. This role will play a crucial role in supporting the legal documentation process for credit facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will collaborate with various departments including Business representatives, Legal, and Documentation Financial Markets to facilitate seamless loan operations.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support legal documentation on credit facilities, including preparation of facility letters and security documents.
- Review operational aspects of credit facilities, verify authorized signatures, and pre-check conditions precedents and subsequent.
- up on outstanding legal agreements and ensure timely registration and implementation of credit limits.
- Handle loan operations duties such as new loan disbursement requests, funding requirements, and rate-fixing.
- Prepare SWIFT Payments, book loans, manage rollovers, repayments, and collection of principal, interest, and fees.
- Report past due payments or anomalies, maintain covenant diaries, and request submission of compliance documents from customers.
- Prepare reports as assigned by Team Lead and monitor annual credit review dates.
- Ensure accuracy in collateral information maintenance and monitor collateral adequacy.
- Assist in data management and communication for regulatory reporting.
- Participate in system user acceptance testing and contribute to process improvement projects.
- Update Work Instructions and Procedures Manual and support adhoc duties and projects assigned by the Team Lead.

Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in loan operations or related financial services role.
- Strong understanding of legal documentation processes and credit facilities.
- Proficiency in SWIFT Payments, loan booking systems, and MS Office Suite.
- System experience with Midas would be beneficial
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
