As an Associate in the APAC Payments Transformation and Execution team, you will be instrumental in advancing our Global Payments business by driving change and execution excellence across Asia. Our team leads and executes projects that align with strategic goals of the Payments Business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our product and client agenda meets global and regional priorities. This is an opportunity to utilize your expertise in project management, process optimization, and technology integration to deliver innovative solutions, enhance client experience, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Our team leads and executes projects that are vital to the strategic goals of the Payments Business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our product and client agenda meets both global and regional priorities. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, fostering career growth and personal development.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify growth, efficiency, and innovation opportunities within the Payments landscape.
- Conduct data mining and quantitative analyses to uncover trends and insights.
- Perform root cause analysis to develop informed solutions.
- Lead transformation projects from inception to completion, including organizational changes and process optimizations.
- Develop business cases, define project scope, and manage project execution/governance.
- Analyze processes and identify opportunities to streamline activities to promote sustainable and scalable operations.
- Implement enhancements to operating models and workflows to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Assess risks of new initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to address potential impacts.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive successful transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex programs.
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Highly motivated self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passionate about the evolving Payments business, delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and develop clear, persuasive outcomes.
- Maintain detailed focus while considering the broader context for seamless project delivery.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to mobilize stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a complex matrix organization.
- Ability to multi-task and manage various projects and assignments simultaneously.
- Openness to adopting new technologies to drive innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 3 years or more relevant experiences.
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Experience in Payments/Transaction Banking or Consulting/Project Management.
- Familiarity with APAC markets and regional business practices.
- Knowledge of blockchain, AI, and machine learning technologies.
- Experience with digital tools such as Alteryx.
