Rapid7 is seeking a curious, customer centric and target driven Account Executive to join our Singapore sales team and be responsible for all aspects of new customer acquisition across the South East Asian territory, contributing to the growth of this region. You will have a proven track record in exceeding your sales targets through solution selling, with the ability to build meaningful relationships to drive revenue growth.

**About the Team**

Our South East Asia Sales organisation serves as a strategic partner for our customers, helping them achieve a more secure digital future. By leveraging the full value of our product portfolio our Sales teams create relevant solutions to meet our customers needs and keep them secure.

You will be supported closely by our in-region teams of Business Development Representatives, Channel Account Managers, Solutions Engineers and Customer Success Managers, all with the collective goal of best serving our customers with best-in-class Cybersecurity solutions and services.

Our Account Executives are set up to be successful through our sales enablement team, who through a blend of training programs and coaching will ensure that all our AE’s are fully immersed into our business and products and can articulate Rapid7 solutions to align with customer needs.

**About the Role**

In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with internal teams to drive net-new business opportunities from initial prospecting through negotiation and contract close. This is a quota-carrying role responsible for selling solutions from our entire portfolio. Rapid7 has a history of promoting from within and our sales representatives have a number of opportunities to grow within the organization both as individual contributors and leadership roles.

**In this role, you will**:

- Develop a business plan for BFSI and Government accounts within assigned region
- Identifying and build relationships that support engagement via a MEDDPICC methodology
- Understand prospective & existing client capabilities and capacities at program level; whilst mapping to Rapid7’s portfolio in service of client satisfaction and revenue expansion
- Collaborate in a fragmented eco-system spanning direct to Channel Partners, System Integrators and Managed Services Providers to drive new business
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota
- Ensuring a clear understanding of business decision making process to aid Contract Negotiations
- Manage your business with a focus on multi-tasking; ensuring continuous tracking and reporting of sales engagements to achieve revenue goals

**The skills you’ll bring include**:

- An Understanding of the IT Cyber Security domains as it applies to Cloud Delivery Models, Hybrid operating environment and Managed Services from clients & partners perspective
- Demonstrate experience with BFSI & Government accounts in Singapore
- Show an aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility.
- Excellent communication skills, not just verbal but leveraging presenting and writing to articulate the Rapid7’s proposals
- Successful track record of performance and outstanding target achievement in a New Business Development role
- Strong collaboration - Seeking perspective in a cross-functional environment
- Self-Discipline regarding day to day sales process, time management and administrative tasks
