**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead end-to-end R&D programs involving smart sensors, edge AI devices, and intelligent building management systems.
- Design and validate AI models for real-time analytics, environmental monitoring, energy optimization, and predictive maintenance.
- Oversee integration of IoT, machine learning, and automation frameworks for smart buildings and connected environments.
- Guide system architecture decisions including edge-cloud collaboration, data fusion, and AI inference optimization.

- Strong knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, edge computing, and real-time sensor data processing.
- Proven experience with smart building technologies (e.g., HVAC automation, occupancy sensing, energy management).
- Familiarity with communication protocols (Zigbee, BLE, LoRaWAN, MQTT), embedded systems, and IoT platforms.
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or embedded scripting languages; experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, OpenCV, ONNX).
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and edge-to-cloud system design.
- Excellent project management, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in deploying smart systems in commercial, industrial, or city-scale environments.
- Knowledge of digital twin modeling, AI-powered control systems, or self-healing infrastructure.
- Background in sustainability-focused innovations (e.g., smart energy, green buildings, LEED certification technologies).
- Contributions to open-source projects, patents, or publications in relevant domains.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity for IoT and secure data transmission in smart environments.
