- Handles Compliance related matters for business lines including the Global Markets Department of Singapore Branch.

**Mission**
- In this respect, he/she is responsible for the following:

- Overseeing the operational processing of financial compliance issues, customer protection
- Disseminating the culture of Compliance
- The direct contact of or contributes to the relationship with business lines
- As appropriate, he/she may be assigned by the Head of Compliance to work with the other compliance teams on special projects

**Key Responsibilities - Singapore**

Disseminates the culture of compliance: ensures that employees are aware of compliance issues, that they are kept informed and well-trained, and that compliance risks are taken into account for strategic decisions
- Monitors the systems dedicated to the management of risks of non-compliance for his/her scope
- Organizes, coordinates and supervises the framework according to regulatory developments
- Organizes and coordinates the reporting - especially the regulatory reporting and the system’s monitoring and prevention tools
- Oversees the operational management of financial compliance issues, customer protection
- Provides recommendations to the employees involved regarding the management of non-compliance risks, in order to stimulate commercial development
- Expresses compliance opinions on customers and activities, and also when new products/activities are launched
- Ensures that the necessary alerts related to compliance deficiencies within his/her scope are properly managed and escalated.
- Carries out the compliance control plans, as well as the tasks related to the mapping of non-compliance risks
- Performs and updates the financial security risk assessment for activities
- Responds and manages auditors

**Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities**
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer/Compliance Officer.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence-

Bachelors degree in Banking, Finance, Law or Accountancy
6-10 years of relevant working experience in Compliance and in banking institutions
