About the Team

The goal of the team is to maximize server delivery throughput and meet the committed delivery SLAs. While capacity delivery is our primary goal, driving Datahall design and utilization efficiency is also an integral part of the scope. Understanding the different variables that go into maximizing the utilization of our data centers, without any operational overhead

Collaboration and communication with multiple stakeholders across multiple regions is an important aspect to be successful in this team. Some key stakeholders include but are not limited to Supply Chain, Regional Asset Management, Network Eng, System Reliability Eng, Datacenter Operations, Datacenter Engineering, Vendors, and relevant design teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with project managers to meet customer commitment on Monthly and yearly Server delivery targets
- Help establish Infrastructure and Bill of material (BOM) standards in collaboration with multiple stakeholders like Supply chain, Network team and engineering team
- Good understanding of key regional differences vs global standards that may impact Server delivery process. Example, Hot/cold aisle containments
- Understand the different SKU types used in the infrastructure, their power consumption, networking requirements to build comprehensive Server rack elevation standards.
- Develop efficient Rack elevation standards to maximize network port usage and available allowable power
- Understand cooling systems used in Datacenter environments and it's impacts on Server rack deployment
- Help implement rack energization standards considering safety and regional compliance
- Able to understand & troubleshoot OS provisioning at high level
- Help develop relevant documentation like installation guides/ standard operating procedures/ equipment standards etc
- Work with Key vendors on technical details for racking/ stacking and integration
- Understand deployment /operational issues and help drive efficiencies to support better tracking, tooling, platform development
- Help with RCA and deep dive into any incidents pertaining to Server delivery
- Help with hiring, onboarding and training new colleagues on processes and tooling
- Adapt to changes in the work environment and demonstrate flexibility as issues or concerns arise. Shifts priorities and works at a rapid pace
- 5+ years of Datacenter infrastructure deployment experience
- Fundamental understanding of server types and it’s components
- Fundamental understanding of racking / stacking and cabling standards
- Fundamental understanding of power distribution systems, cooling and airflow
- Strong collaboration skills to engage with colleagues to maintain a culture of continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a face
- paced environment, with quick turn around, be able to meet short deadlines in a timely and accurate manner
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents on power distribution, datacenter redundancy and basic Networking
- Basic Linux and scripting knowledge and ability to comprehend how systems work
- Excellent statistical and analytical skills
- Experience at issue tracking, triaging and crisis management.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years working experience in Datacenter infrastructure
- Relevant certifications in Datacenter infrastructure
- Advanced Scripting and automation experience any *nix certification
