Director (Capital Expense, Osat Semiconductor)

- Salary from $13,000 - $17,000

- OSAT Semiconductor industry in Assembly, Testing and Packaing
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead Central Industrial Engineering team to build and standardize capacity model
- Responsible for capital expense budgeting and control
- Responsible for asset management including asset disposal & inter-site transfers
- Establish and implement policy, automation, and procedures
- Support Sites on space/production floor layouts, resource asset optimization
- Lead a team to ensure timely new capacity readiness to meet customers demand and maximize revenue attainment
- Proactively de-bottlenecking capacity
- Response to Capacity commitment to Customer long range demand
- Work closely with Procurement, 6-Sigma and Equipment Process Innovation teams to provide proposals for capacity improvement solutions
- Drive actions to ensure that capital budget is spent within approved budget and are allocated based on strategic businesses and initiatives and establish dynamic processes to respond to fast changing business environment
- Lead cross functional project team(s) to drive transfer of business across factories
- Provide regular reviews to update executive management on key project milestones progress
- Lead decision making processes for capital investment and capacity commitment with Sales, Business Operations & Factories Take on special projects as needed.
**Requirement**:
- Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering, MBA will be an advantage
- Working experience in semiconductor wafer operations in Industrial Engineering or Operations with minimum 10 years relevant working experience in Semiconductor is preferable
- Experienced in capital expense justifications and control procedures.
- Experienced with success track record and familiar with project management techniques and tools such as MS Project
- Strategic leadership and good communication skills with multiple cultural exposures.
