**Overview**

The Desktop support team is responsible for providing technical assistance and support for our systems and hardware to Caxton's users globally. The primary focus of this role is to support a small population of users based in our Singapore office (10-15 people). The global team provide support between the hours of 0700-1800, with rotational after-hours support shared between a team of 5.

Responsibilities include
- Provide desktop support to the end users. This includes installation, repair, servicing, and maintenance of hardware equipment (Dell, HP).
- Office & Remote support.
- Windows 7/10/11 support & Office 365 support, this includes installation, troubleshooting and software updates.
- Exchange support (Delegation, check licenses, spam/message tracing).
- Active Directory support (mainly to control group memberships).
- Cisco IP Phones and IP Communicator software.
- HP multifunction printer support (print / scan).
- CATO / Pulse Secure VPN / Remote Desktop.
- Mobile Phone support with regards to CyberArk Identity MDM.
- Software deployment via PDQ, Choco, Manual.
- Utilize Asana and JIRA for ticketing and requests.
- Maintain and update confluence with regards to Singapore operations and general technology.
- Proactively monitor the client wide infrastructure and respond to any alerts or web-based monitoring tools to identify issues and carrying out actions where required.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Studies or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in related field.
- Familiarity with financial / trading environment.
- Ability to work independantly, and sufficiently qualified handle most situations locally outside of US/UK hours.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service skills.
- Understanding of PC hardware configurations and Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of networks and telecommunications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and an analytical approach to problem solving.
- Powershell knowledge a plus.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and Excel plugin is a plus.
- Office hours (Monday to Friday); including willingness to help evenings, weekends/holiday if needed.
