**Job Overview**

**Requirements**:

- At least 8-10 years of FF&E experience in a lead role within the interior design industry, with a strong portfolio of design work.
- Experienced working on luxury hotels and resorts at 5-6-star levels.
- Good comprehension of design planning, materials, details, furniture, and fixtures.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead, mentor and verbally present to clients.
- Experienced working on all aspects of FF&E on projects from concept to completion.
- Strong in furniture design, detailing, and knowledge of manufacturing criteria for luxury hotels and resorts.
- Freehand sketching would be greatly appreciated but not required.
- Experienced in managing complex projects across multiple locations, in hotel and resort type settings.
- Highly organized and able to meet and manage schedules, budgets, and track personal progress.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office & Excel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare OS&E design packages that incorporate operator input.
- Manage client relationships to ensure that projects are delivered on time.
- Prepare mood imagery, presentations, materials boards - digital and physical.
- Travel oversees to factories to review and report on customized FF&E fabrication.
- Relevant knowledge of product qualifications, sourcing, global vendor, and supplier contacts.
- Must have appropriate documents for oversees travel and willingness to travel for 1-2 weeks at a time.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and growth within the organization.
- Must be meticulous and a good team player and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare schedules, select FF&E for each project working with the Partners and Project Designers through every stage of the design process through to staging and placement for opening.
- Develop and prepare all materials finishes, ironmongery, and sanitary ware specifications in collaboration with the Project Designer and Partners, working with local and international suppliers and artisans.
