**Room Attendant**
You are at the heart of the hotel As a Room Attendant, you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.

**What you will be doing**:
- Responsible for cleaning rooms and related areas and maintaining them in good condition to provide a comfortable environment for all guests.
- Ensure that the guest items are safe and orderly.
- Ensure that the guest rooms, corridors, cabinets and linen room are serviced and cleaned according to the standards set by the hotel.
- Ensure that guest requests specified by the superiors or by guests themselves are promptly and courteously met.
- Report damage or malfunctions in hotel rooms to superior.
- Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment as set down in procedures manual.
- Request for superior’s help if unable to deal with guest’s description and requirements.
- Assist with regular equipment stocktaking.
- Maintain equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repair.
- Handle guest complaints and requirements rapidly and skilfully.
- Ensure that the guests are satisfied with the service provided by the hotel before they leave the hotel.
- Ensure the security of keys and public / Heart of house areas at all times by adhering to security procedures. Report any suspicious persons or items to Supervisor.
**Your experience and skills include**:
- Ensure neat, clean and functionally operating department at all times.
- Manage the Hotel’s assets in all areas to protect their long term investment value.
- Maintain a register of all service equipment maintenance and breakages; ensure that regular programmed maintenance is carried out to manufacturers’ specifications.
- Report any loss or damage to Hotel, guests or ambassador assets on the appropriate incident report form.
- Ensure hotel, guest and ambassador information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.
