**Marketing Manager**
- Responsible for increasing revenue and also enhancing and maximizing the profile of the Hotel through traditional media, digital marketing, database management, web site content management, partnering with/linking to key partner web sites, Public Relations and promotional partnerships. **What you will be doing**:

- Assist with the preparation and implementation of the annual Sales and Marketing plan, focusing on Marketing, Promotions, PR and E-Commerce.
- Develop and maintain the various media/PR databases of the hotel and communicate regularly regarding promotions and events.
- Actively solicit opportunities with media partners with similar target audiences to develop mutually beneficial promotional opportunities aimed at expanding our exposure to new markets in non-competitive or exclusive media environments
- In accordance with the budget, manage all paid media expenditure from creative to production to appearance and post-campaign assessment dealing with AccorHotels preferred suppliers.
- Keep up to date with new initiatives in the communications sphere and implement where appropriate.
- Manage PR, Communications and Marketing activities within the business units.
- Liaise with the Sofitel and AccorHotels marketing team, senior management, corporate and suppliers as required.
- Conduct campaign briefings to senior management and team members.
- Manage and update property digital media.
- Provide statistics and revenue results.
- Update all other websites including the hotel’s as well as all third party websites for content and imagery.
- Keep updated all hotel collaterals, imagery and arrange image library or create photography where appropriate
- Produce sales tools for the sales team with regard to online and offline executions.
- Draft copy/content for the regular press releases, promotions and paid media to each of the constituencies.
- Liaise with key departments to ensure all promotional opportunities are distributed effectively.
- Liaise with Sofitel and AccorHotels Corporate to ensure that corporate advertising and promotional standards are implemented and maintained.
- Liaise with key potential partners to develop joint promotional initiatives.
- Monitor competitor promotional activities and advertising.
- Ensure correct procedures maintained in relation to expenditure approvals and budget monitoring.
- Prepare inception marketing and promotional materials, brochures etc in accordance with Sofitel brand standards.
- Proofread all property literature prior to production.
- Keep up-to-date the current promotional and campaign listing.
- Brief and manage relations with advertising and promotional suppliers.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.
- Any other reasonable request within your range of competence as required by your Supervisor or Management.

**Your experience and skills include**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably including 5 star experience
- Demonstrated marketing and public relations experience.
- Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation/ interpersonal skills.
- Desire and ability to train and develop staff
- Maintains awareness of industry trends in service, product and presentation
- Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily
- Asserts point of view directly yet tactfully
- Organises time and work efficiently
- Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
- Has the ability and willingness to undertake further development
- Appreciates and maintains an effective outlet for stress
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required to meet demands of the role.
- Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.
