- Assist in processing of daily Coroner's cases, from the preparation of cases to the release of body to the Next-Of-Kin or undertaker.
- Assist forensic pathologists in the (coronial) investigations into deaths, conduct of post-mortem examinations of human/biological remains, etc.. Maintain autopsy suites in a manner that ensures a safe workplace that is free of biohazards and responds to potential biosafety breaches.
- Assist in monitoring the supply and usage of mortuary supplies, instruments and equipment. To maintain order and stock necessary supplies for the proper function of the mortuary, and for emergencies/disasters.
- Monitor the security and safety aspects of the facility to maintain functionality of the security system and respond to any potential security breaches.
- Provide technical support in the histology laboratory.

**Job Requirements**:

- Background in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Able to work on a rostered schedule which will include weekends/ Public Holidays
