We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Chief Control Officer - Global Private Banking.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

The Chief Control Officer (CCO) for GPB Singapore is accountable for driving the effective governance and management of non-financial risks in the First Line of Defence. Key responsibilities include:

- Promote accountable risk and control decision-making based on quality data and commercial analysis
- Enable the business to clearly, consistently and comprehensively articulate the risk profile of the business/service/process including the integrity of processes and controls
- Support Risk and Control Owners in identifying anomalies in control effectiveness or the aggregation of risks that may take the risk profile of the business outside of tolerance
- Support Risk Owners through proactive advice based on risk and control knowledge and insights and present risk management solutions where appropriate
- Identify trends to anticipate future developments in the risk and control environment
- Support Control Owners to avoid poor, inefficient or excessive controls, related tasks and behaviours
- Advise Control Owners on the design and implementation of control monitoring to confirm it is fit for purpose
- 8.Promoting desired behaviours and a positive risk culture, and supporting the delivery of the conduct outcomes
- Manage the GPB Singapore CCO team and ensure that the team activities are aligned to local and regional strategic priorities

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge private banking business and non-financial risk management frameworks are preferred
- Knowledge and experience dealing with digital initiatives is desirable
- Ability to deal effectively with senior and executive management, with strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong people management skills and experience
- Able to multi-task and deal with competing priorities often in ambiguous conditions, and solve problems effectively
- Actions and results oriented
