**Regional Business Development Manager (Singapore based)**

**Position**

The **Regional Business Development Manager** will be responsible for managing proposals and incoming requests for work as well as working with team leaders to generate potential new business leads.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Managing project request inflows and collaborating with teams to optimize opportunities
- Cataloguing prospects in target organizations
- Having initial conversations about Blackbox proposition and arranging calls/meetings
- Attend client meetings along with research teams and helping to scope proposals and close deals (research teams will lead on proposals)
- Utilize Salesforce to identify and engage new/latent client contacts
- Taking sector focused propositions and helping sell them across different organizations (e.g., solutions for leisure industry)
- Driving client engagement and business development at a local and regional level
- Selling wide range of services/capabilities including full-service research and fieldwork only services
- Working closely with research agencies, media agencies, management consultancies and end clients
- Representing the company at conferences and events
- Collaborating across the organization with different teams and units
- Taking the lead in suggesting and managing targeted marketing initiatives aimed at lead generation (e.g., webinars, conference attendance etc.)
- Setting up new sales focused processes
- Administration associated with setting up opportunities/clients on Salesforce

**Qualifications/Experience**
- A University degree relevant to the company
- Experience selling to and managing client relationships
- Experience in research and/or insights/data services
- A self-starter who can take responsibility for identifying prospects, build pipeline and achieve revenue targets
- High level of initiative, ability to create and refine sales processes from scratch
- Strong business acumen
- Strong communication skills - ability to quickly build rapport with clients and internal teams
- Experience using Salesforce and LinkedIn

**Package**

The position offers a competitive salary as well as key benefits including health insurance. This is also a commission based role offering regular bonus payments based on new sales generated and incremental additions.
