**Director - Strategy & Innovation, Asia Pacific - Sandpiper**

**What are we looking for?**

We are looking for a creative, energetic and experienced digital communications professional to join our regional Asia Pacific team. We want all our colleagues to participate in shaping client strategies and contributing to the growth and management of the agency business.

You will be confident overseeing client programmes, have good budget management skills, and be able to build strong relationships based on trust and respect. You will also be a self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong knowledge of digital and social media strategy, channels and monitoring tools
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Leadership experience and experience leading new business pitches
- Capable of multi-tasking on multiple projects - managing priorities and meeting deadlines, while maintaining a high attention to detail
- Creative thinker
- Entrepreneurial with strong business acumen
- Bachelor’s degree at a minimum (a plus if it is in related fields such as communications, English, journalism, politics, economics or business)

**Roles and Responsibilities**

You will be responsible for leading capability strategy and innovation for Sandpiper, which includes:

- Leading and bringing together agency capability strategy and innovation - including oversight of existing capability offerings, mapping new offerings that make commercial sense and driving new business development
- Day-to-day reporting responsibility and oversight of the digital and creative teams, with a dotted line to research and marketing team leads and members
- Responsibility for high-quality output of the team and timely delivery of work and support
- Receive briefs for new business and client strategy input, and directly contribute to and sign-off on all contributions to new business and strategic proposals
- Responsibility for practice credentials, marketing, new business progress, and internal team resources - including the development of new offerings and initiatives
- Manage with the team, the creation of relevant and engaging digital content for publishing onto various digital platforms as required
- Manage with the team, digital advertising campaigns (SEM, SEO Display, Social, Programmatic) as required
- With the team, conduct research on market trends, brand’s audiences and competitors, and end-to-end customer journeys to drive engagements and conversions using digital platforms
- Analyse digital marketing analytics reports and share insights with the team to develop optimisation plans
- Stay abreast of emerging digital tools and platforms, digital marketing trends, new technologies, and share insights with the rest of the team - including via regular internal training sessions
- Manage delivery and progress of the annual practice plan, including work towards annual revenue targets and management of budgeting
