**SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Actively helping to spearhead the function of our global research and strategy activities by developing dedicated strategic market views on Asia Pacific and help to realize our investment ambition ;

**THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE**:

- Closely work with the local Business Unit to support Asia Pacific investment and asset management teams;
- Develop proprietary research tools to assist the investment teams in prioritizing the target markets and submarkets;
- Produce regular market views and specific ad hoc analyses for specific transaction opportunities;
- Contribute actively to develop a house view on Asia Pacific markets and build strong convictions ;
- Monitor the economic and political environment that may have potential implications on the real estate markets;
- Actively collaborate with the Risk, Strategic Planning, Portfolio Construction and ESG teams to produce coordinated market views;
- Be the Asia Pacific research voice and communicates with the CDPQ research team;
- Monitor, update, maintain and report on the key real estate variables and assist the integration to the company’s data system and contribute to the preparation of Power BI visualization;
- Create market presentations that generate high-impact messages;
- Prepare forward thinking commentaries for Asia Pacific and contribute actively the preparation of global market views;
- Help actively to build econometric models to produce proprietary market forecasts and contribute to the global strategic recommendations and ensure the consistency within the different teams;
- Contribute actively to the production of impactful investment strategy for Asia in the preparation of the annual Strategic Plan of IC;
- Assist with the formulation of risk-adjusted return methodologies for Asian markets in the context of the global market views.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent real estate market expertise and proven experience in Asia Pacific market investment;
- Fluent written and spoken English, while French is a strong advantage;
- Master’s Degree with a focus on real estate, investments, finance, business or economics;
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in areas such as real estate research and strategies, real estate valuations, macroeconomic analysis, preferably within an institutional investment company;
- Strong knowledge of most relevant institutional real estate capital and investment markets;
- Excellent competence in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, while econometric modelling (Eviews, R, Python) is a strong advantage;
- Analytical, data and detail-oriented mindset;
- Proven skills to present market investment strategic recommendations to various audience;
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and work independently;
- Creativity and propensity for initiative, innovation and continuous improvement;
- Communicates clearly and confidently to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner;
- Critical thinking skills that can convert data into meaningful relationships and information to drive quality decision making;
- Passionate and great team worker.
