Singapore & Apac Regional Cfo for Aerospace

**Job Description Summary**: The Singapore & APAC Regional CFO will serve on the leadership staff of a ~2,200 person component repair site and be a critical business partner to the operational team, including plant and business leaders. The CFO is responsible for providing overall financial leadership to the site & region inclusive of short
- and long-term planning, productivity & cost management, FP&A, modeling & analysis, treasury, cash, and controllership. The role manages a team of 10 financial analysts, controllers, and contractors, while also providing guidance to an extended finance support team of ~40 people.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Provides finance leadership to the Aerospace legal entities incorporated in Singapore which encompasses the component repair, new make, overhaul, CSA & military businesses; role will assume directorship responsibilities for those legal entities
- Lead the development, implementation, and measurement of the financial forecasting cycles - long-term strategy review, budget review, & weekly pulses at each level of the organization; participate in their successful execution
- Ensure key processes and controls are in place to support a world class financial operation inclusive of monthly closing, compliance to US GAAP and statutory/tax accounting & reporting, and adherence to GE policies
- Partner cross-functionally with the plant/business leaders, fulfillment, customer service, and human resources to drive profitable growth and meet financial targets providing insight and decision-making support
- Provide business performance analytics to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities and ensure operational coordination
- Drive financial performance improvement initiatives throughout business (cash, cost reduction, productivity, overtime management, capital allocation, etc.)
- Provide analysis and recommendations on capital expenditures and other projects as required
- Partner with human resources manager and plant leader to establish and monitor strategic workforce planning
- Provide guidance to the SAP ERP implementation team on financial policies & processes to aid in the transformation, design & development of a common ERP blueprint for the repair business
- Develop & maintain the strategic relationship with local government agencies; collaborate on potential opportunities for financial grants & incentives and develop effective mechanisms to ensure commitments are fully met in accordance with contractual terms
- Partner with the Separation Management Office to plan & execute on legal entities separation transactions and restructuring initiatives that impact the Singapore & ASEAN Aerospace business
- Provide support to sales & marketing and customer service teams to evaluate existing & new deals by providing valuable, customer specific, profitability analysis and financial outcomes
- Provide support in the development of business cases for strategic growth & investment projects in the Singapore & APAC region for the Aerospace business; ensure optimization of company returns and alignment with long term strategic growth
- Identify, develop, and recruit Finance talent

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10 additional years of finance, accounting, or audit experience
- Minimum of 5 years of finance leadership experience

**Desired Characteristics**
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college preferred
- Chartered accountant or certified public accountant designation preferred
- Adequate knowledge of manufacturing / supply chain operational and financial processes
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, multi-cultural environment; ability to work across different time zones
- Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma
