**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and implement comprehensive inventory management processes and systems, including tracking, optimization, and execution.
Track inventory by different hierarchies, including business organization, site, product, commodity, buyer/planner, materials type, and availability.
Monitor inventory aging and evaluate root causes for aged inventory.
Conduct weekly inventory tracking and evaluate week-over-week changes, meeting with owners to understand root causes and drive improvements for finished goods, raw materials, and work-in-progress.
Work with inventory owners to evaluate root causes and disposition options for aged inventory, ensuring execution and securing finance reserves for scrap disposition.
Review non-nettable inventory, including material review board (MRB), and work with owners to facilitate quick decisions and disposition.
Define, develop, and implement reports and processes for high-dollar or obsolete inventory, conducting weekly meetings with owners to understand root causes and corrective actions to minimize liability and cash exposure.
Review inventory and material requirements planning (MRP) parameters, including safety stock, lead time, minimum order quantity (MOQ), lot size, part classification, and others, to minimize exposure.
Review engineering change (EC) processes to ensure financial impact analysis is completed and proper disposition decisions are made and executed.
Work with global commodity managers to improve inco terms and payment terms to reduce working capital.
Review risk buy and research and development (R&D) purchases to ensure proper disposition after project completion.
Participate in sales, inventory, and operations planning (SIOP) process and provide input on flexibility vs inventory.
Prepare and share inventory projections with finance partners for quarterly and yearly projections.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management.
Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and systems, including tracking, optimization, and execution.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working with MRP systems and ERP systems.
Knowledge of finance and accounting principles related to inventory management.
Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other inventory management software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
