**About this opportunity**
The Commercial Director (SG, MY & PH) will drive business growth across the markets - Singapore, Malaysia and The Philippines, and build strong business foundations for long term business. This position is accountable for achieving Align Technology’s commercial objectives through effective direction of assigned commercial resources and seamless collaboration within regional team.

**In this role, you will**
Within the context of the Align Technology’s business strategies, develop and direct the implementation of commercial strategy for Singapore, Malaysia & The Philippines with a key focus on growth and market leadership.
- Set and drive strategic directions especially for market insights / segmentation and work to effectively deploy resources to achieve the business goals
- Ensure that all assigned commercial related functions including customer service, sales, clinical and marketing resources are properly coordinated, integrated, and controlled; and that effective interrelationships are maintained with all group functions as appropriate.
- Implement processes in sales planning, forecasting, business planning, etc, and execution of marketing strategies to achieve short-term and long-term objectives of business
- Develop sales strategy and conduct related programs to support business objectives
- Participate in setting strategic directions for long term growth of business
- Provide support for continual organization effectiveness through the selection, training, development and leadership for a competentworkforce
- Develop a high caliber team and with a passion to train and mentor current team members
- Represent the business in various internal meetings and conferences to ensure that the objectives and strategies which are supported throughout the larger organization
- Embrace and champion compliance across the organization
- Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required

- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong leadership skills and to manage and motivate a team
- Possess solid project management skills to handle multiple projects and manage timelines, along with good business acumen and excellent organizational skills
- Clear thinker with the ability to work under high pressure and changing priorities of customers and clients
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation, listening and consulting skills with the ability to process a wide range of information and communicate it clearly to the customer and team members
**Qualifications**:
- Over 15 years of solid commercial leadership experience with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Extensive success in developing and executing sales strategies that have consistently driven strong sales performance.
- Demonstrates a high level of leadership capability in managing, leading, and developing direct reports and broader teams, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce to execute sales strategies effectively across a large organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across multiple functions within the Asia Pacific region.
- Strong financial/business acumen and analytical capabilities for complex analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
