**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**:
**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Trade Capture & Lifecycle Management**
- Monitor daily trading activity to ensure all trades are accurately captured.
- Book voice and electronically executed trades in internal systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal trade capture policies.

**2. Static Data Management**
- Maintain and update instrument reference data.
- Manage onboarding processes for clients, traders, and funds.
- Support static data integrity to facilitate straight-through processing (STP).

**3. Trade and Position Affirmation**
- Reconcile internal records with external counterparties on a T+0 basis.
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks and position mismatches promptly.

**4. Process Improvement & Project Involvement**
- Participate in new business initiatives, including onboarding new traders and products.
- Identify and implement process and technology improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to procedure documentation, risk mitigation strategies, and event reviews.
- Support training and development within the team.

**5. Stakeholder Engagement**
- Act as a key liaison between execution traders, portfolio managers, and clients.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including COO, Middle Office, Fund Control, Investor Relations, Risk, and Quant teams.
- Provide support across broader Operations functions as required.

**WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND**

**Essential**
- Undergraduate degree in a numerate or analytical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Trade Assistant or Trade Support role.
- Solid understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle and financial market infrastructure.
- Experience supporting a diverse range of asset classes and trading strategies.
- Proven understanding of operational risk and effective risk mitigation using systems, controls, and processes.

**Desirable**
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with VBA, SQL, Python or similar tools is advantageous.
- Exposure to Fixed Income, FX, Credit, Rates, Equities, and ETDs.
- Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements and automation.

**TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**
- Strong prioritisation skills with a risk-based approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Comfortable working independently as well as within a team structure.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail oriented
- Flexible and adaptable with a solution-oriented mindset.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanour.
- High personal initiative and sense of accountability.
- Capable of managing multiple workstreams and delegating tasks appropriately.
- Must be able to operate effectively in a front-office environment.
