**OPERATIONS PORTFOLIO**

The operations team is an essential part of Youthplomacy's day-to-day business; headed by the Director of Operations, the team aims to provide guidance and advice on events, oversee the implementation of programs by each division, and administer organization-wide digital events.

**OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE**

**Reports to **:Director of Operations

**Position Duration **:3 months

**Time commitment **:Approximately 8-10 hours per week

**WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?**
- As Operations Associate, your assignments will include (but are not limited to): _
- Arranging meetings and weekly schedule to be performed as planned
- Liaising with other divisions to ensure Youthplomacy’s operation.
- Tracking and ensuring that agreed actions and programs are carried out accordingly
- Managing volunteers’ activities (i.e. recruiting and terminating volunteers’ terms)
- Conducting technicalities of Youthplomacy’s events (online and offline)
- Ensuring all paper works are recorded properly and accordingly
- Analyse current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary
- Attend bi-weekly team meetings as well as department meetings to report and provide-input
- Creating recommendations for improvement where feasible and appropriate.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Familiarity with video conferencing platforms, i.e. zooms, google meet, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with other colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results, work as a team, take the initiative and work independently
- Working and communicating in English is preferred.
- Prior experience in the operational portfolio is a plus.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6 per week

**Salary**: $1.00 per month
