**Job Description Summary**:
This incumbent will lead a team responsible for various onboarding activities for clients and funds accounts as well as systems account setup.

The role is responsible for ensuring accounts with custodian banks, brokers, trading counterparties, fund houses as well as investment systems accounts are set up and ensuring they are completed successfully within the stipulated timelines to enable investment and trading.

Account take-on & restructuring projects and initiatives
- Participate in and contribute to on-boarding activities such as new fund launches, and account events such as fund launches, liquidations, in-specie transfers etc. Ensure the events are successfully completed, and ensure readiness for go live.

Account onboarding and maintenance
- Brokers accounts opening - liaise with brokers & counterparties on trading accounts opening relating to FD, FX, Equities and Fixed Income. Setting up of broker codes in internal system (Bloomberg AIM, FAM and IBOR) and brokers linkages to OMGEO
- Custodian accounts opening - liaise with custodian to open safekeeping and bank accounts for clients and set them up in internal systems (Bloomberg AIM, FAM and IBOR) and OMGEO accordingly. For complex markets and instruments, understand the markets account opening requirements, and ensure foreign trading IDs and relevant tax agents are appointed, where required. Liaise with relevant internal teams such as Legal and Compliance to ensure all requisite documentation are properly reviewed and executed.
- Portfolio access setup and maintenance for all systems (Bloomberg AIM, FAM, IBOR and OMGEO) - liaise with relevant teams to set up new portfolio and grant access to users
- Investment account opening with external fund managers - liaise with external fund managers or their agents to open accounts for investing in mutual funds and funds structured as limited partnerships. Working with AIAIM Legal team to complete KYC / onboarding requirements of the external fund managers
- Instruct user ID setup and maintenance for all systems (Bloomberg AIM, FAM and IBOR)
- Static data maintenance - liaise with relevant parties for update to static data such as updates to portfolios in Bloomberg AIM, user function requests, brokers settlement instructions, OMGEO linkages etc.
- Monitor status of account opening, and maintain Approved Brokers/Counterparties Lists and obtain relevant sign-off by authorized persons

KYC
- Liaise with Compliance & Legal teams and handle all KYC requests from brokers/ counterparties and service providers

Derivatives onboarding
- Instruct and oversee the onboarding of new ISDA / CSA counterparties and new portfolios by the outsourced service provider and ensure all requisite authorities and linkages are in place to enable trading and reporting.
- Maintain ISDA/CSA counterparties list and track status of account opening.

Other tasks
- Coordinate yearly recertification of user IDs and access to Bloomberg AIM
- Continually evaluate and improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality control of workflow design, inquiry responsiveness, reduction of TAT for new account set up, etc
- Update and maintenance of Master Portfolio List and Bloomberg access matrix
- Validation for client if transactions are in accordance to the approved brokers list
- Audit walkthrough/ requests
- Other ad-hoc requests (if any)
