Meta’s APAC Metaverse content platform team SPM is a strategic and partner facing role who puts our partners at the core of everything we do. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop lasting partnerships in contents business around metaverse. This role is responsible for partnering with Strategic Partner Managers to develop industry-specific relationships with existing, new partners and new strategic partnerships using data and analytics to provide consultative solution to our partners. We introduce people to the devices and experiences that power the Metaverse, and support them as they enter the metaverse and start using our products. Our vision is to be the best place for people to buy, and Meta to sell, RL products. This position is full-time and based in our Singapore office.
**Strategic Partner Manager, Games Partnership (Korea) Responsibilities**:
- Manage and consult existing partners to help them grow their business on Meta’s platform around VR, MR and AR across the APAC region, with a focus on Korea
- Represent Meta’s metaverse contents partnership in external meetings with executives from external partners
- Track, analyze, and communicate to develop and execute against partnership goals
- Collaboration and relationship building with the experience developing all levels of management
- Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams, including Product, Marketing, Legal, Policy team and Operations to advocate for partner needs.
- Adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, and communicate these strategically to stakeholders both internally and externally
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- BS/BA in a highly quantitative field, such as Economics, Business commerce, or equivalent experience preferred
- 5+ years relevant experience in platform, tech industry related
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and adapt to a rapidly changing product to respond strategically to partner needs
- Korean Language is required because this role manages relationships with external partners in a location where communications are generally made in Korean
- Working experience supporting the APAC region and/or Korea
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Previous experience working with or in tech industry including gaming platform, global IP and brand management, entertainment partnership background is also preferred.
- Ability to handle day to day operational work to also structure, negotiate, and maintain significant and complex strategic relationships with game companies.
- Identify and leverage trends within industry of expertise/focus.
- Knowledge of the media/metaverse/gaming landscape of Korea and digital media
