**JOB PURPOSE**

Part of a global team with focus on EHSS qualification responsibilities for LSP’s for ROA region.

This role is to support the Polymers and Chemicals SBUs Supply chain team by providing the minimum EHS requirements through procedures, guidelines, and consultation along with conducting awareness and training sessions (both for Liquid products and for plastics). Also, this role is to ensure the compliance with local and international requirements along with Global SC EHS & Sustainability requirements, guidelines, and procedures.

**JOB SCOPE**
- Internal Auditing (Regularity requirements, contracts, vetting check, incident reporting, previous cargos restrictions compliance etc.)
- External Auditing (supplier pre-qualification and compliance) for EHSS, Sustainability and Quality.
- Engaging in EHSS standards (Responsible Care, Rail-regulations, Road-regulations), and representing SABIC in EHS Committee.
- To review, revise, and develop Procedure and Guidelines (in regarding to Global SC EHSS & Sustainability Liquid and solid Requirements + Quality (Product Handling))
- Conduct Awareness and Training sessions for EHSS, Sustainability, and Quality (Product handling)
- To provide consultation to Polymers and Chemicals Supply Chain team and Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) (in regarding to Global SC EHSS & Sustainability +Legal compliance on HazMat Regs)
- Contributing and participating in solving Global SC challenges covering Liquids & Solids concerns, Dangerous Goods Management, Security Risk management and all Transportation modes Marine, Road, Warehouses and terminals..
- To follow up the Root Cause Investigations, qualifying the incidents reports, and tracking the implementation of the preventive and corrective actions.
- To demonstrate in the fundamental project management processes, methodologies, tools and techniques in supply chain related projects.

**MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry or relevant Engineering field with safety background or Bachelor degree in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment with strong chemical experience, or Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering with safety background and strong chemical experience.
- Minimum 3 years in Chemical supply chain experience with EHSS background is preferred.
- Auditor certification, experience in EHSS and good knowledge in Human Factors will be an added advantage.
- Strong writing skills (English), analytical thinking, communication skills (in both local + English languages), public speaking, diplomacy and assertiveness, and promptitude.
