GroupM Singapore is looking for a Finance Intern to assist the Finance and Commercial team in day to day tasks

Some of the day to day duties of the Finance and Commercial Intern includes:

- Support Agency’s P&L, Balance sheet, Annual Budget/Quarterly/Monthly Forecast
- Standardise the reporting process, policy and templates post merger, with automation.
- Help the team to oversee day-to-day finance/commercial activities of EM and assist to prepare financial closing related & ad-hoc reporting.
- Retrieval of agency’s financials - Monthly and Forecast cartesis reports
- Good understanding of all SOX /operation controls, compliances and commercial practices
- Able to build a good rapport with various stakeholders in Singapore hub and APAC markets.
- Familiar with cartesis system retrieval function
- Support the quarterly forecasting processes and generate monthly financial and management reports for the agency.
- Support the implementation of improved business processes and training to Agency/ GroupM.
- Assist in onboarding of new Clients and vendors onto GroupM’s system
- Able to collaborate with Agencies/GroupM and monitor on Client billings, fees, unbilled media expenses, cost allocation and aging by working closely with media team and SSC to resolve any discrepancies.
- Support the monitoring and review of timesheet records by agency to ensure improved quality of timesheet data.

**Required skills & traits**:

- Comfortable both working in a team and independently.
- Preferably is currently studying for a degree in Finance or Business Management
- Meticulous, detail oriented - ensuring accurate data is transferred and reflected on documents accurately before sending out.
- Ability to manage communications with different internal and external stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Comfortable working with large data sets.
