JR16474 FE CPIE PI Modeling Senior Engineer/ Principal Engineer
As a Central Product Integration PI Modeling Principal Engineer/Senior Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for both process model developing and process yield loss improvement for complex process integration problems solving.
**Responsibilities and Tasks**:
- Responsible for both process model developing and process yield loss improvement for complex process integration problems solving.
- Work with internal and external partner(s) to secure and develop (novel) advanced modeling methods. Plan and execute experimental trials (DOE); validate through designed experiments to ensure products / process can be successfully executed / implemented in modeling system. Conduct evaluations and provide comprehensive analysis and reports on new processes and technologies.
- Work with cross function team, R&D, Product Engineering, Modeling, Yield Enhancement and Electrical & Physical Failure analysis teams, Defect Analysis to understand issues, target and optimize existing process flows to meet yield & product requirements
- Design and execute DOEs and analyze results with statistical analysis software like JMP. Use the analysis results to build up inline defense line, enhance yield capability and reduce costs.
- Summarize complex problems, derive, explain actions taken to address them and drive team to execute
- Communicate and gain alignment with internal & external stakeholders for projects to ensure research and development programs are successfully exploited on time.
- Present, train and develop field teams (Group, BU and bottlers) in conventional and emerging technologies. Facilitate trouble shooting and optimization of existing processes.
- Travel to Micron Fab locations as necessary for face-to-face work.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree and above in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Materials Science & Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related field of study
- Experience in process integration, modeling/simulations, experiment design, response surface methodology, statistical analysis will be advantageous
- Knowledge in Semiconductor Device Physics, DRAM operations, wafer fabrication process flows, parametric/electrical test, and probe yield.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer/co-worker relationships. Successfully demonstrated teamwork skills with a strong focus on developing good team dynamics.
- The experience on design and testing will be a plus to this job position.
