PURPOSE

This position assists in leading the strategic projects within the New Business Models (NBM) channel. It will drive the execution of various strategic initiatives to support and grow the new business channel across our markets, whilst also ensuring the execution and delivery of our Group owned NBM strategic projects.

The role owns and manages the data mining, analysis, insight and reporting for the Group NBM channel, working with cross-functional teams to interpret results and define strategic paths forward to deliver against our NBM primary objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

Strategic Planning- Assist in the identification of key strategic goals and objectives for the NBM channel.- Assist the Group Head of NBM to define the strategic project roadmap for the NBM channel, ensuring market and cross functional alignment and commitment to the plans.- Collaborate with Group and Market teams closely to ensure all strategic projects are on track, are delivered on time, and to budget.

Operational- Direct and oversee all data analysis, management reporting, and financial reporting for the NBM Channel.- Assist in defining master project plans, outlining interdependencies, and managing tracking and reporting of key initiatives.- Running and delivers strategic projects independently with limited guidance.- Conducting research and data analysis to inform business decisions.- Works across Markets to help define business cases / projection for digital partnerhsips / ecosystems.- Support the business planning process, covering both functional and market planning for the NBM Channel.- Constructs forecasts and analytical models to project and define NBM future growth, and defines actionable deliverables to achieve against projections.- Monitoring and analyzing industry trends and market changes across FWD relevant to digital/ NBM.- Gathers monthly data and qualitative feedback from countries on NBM results; analyses feedback and incorporates same into future projections. Identifies and determines regional implications of project parameters and redefines, redesigns or revises as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE- Business degree or equivalent- 7-10 years of experience- Hands-on experience in Strategy/ business planning and working in cross-functional strategy projects gained at one of the top consulting firms or in the insurance industry- Ideally experience in Life insurance

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS- Strong strategic and analytical skills- Ability to independently carry out performance analysis, competitive and market analysis, financial analysis and translate the information in actional insights and strategies- Experience in Business Planning- Ability to scope and run projects- Good written and verbal communication skills is a must to be able to clearly convey information and recommendations which will affect the effectiveness of the execution.- Have good understanding of Life Insurance Operations- Ability to develop strong working relationships- Experience of working across an international community is preferred
