As a Strategy Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that will drive growth and profitability in the life insurance business. You will work closely with the Leadership team to develop and implement strategies that address market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive pressures.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the life insurance industry
- Professionally package Strategy Analysis products for executive decision making via various forums
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise product offerings, pricing, distribution, and marketing.
- Provide expert advice to senior management on strategic decision-making and investment opportunities.
- Assist Head of Strategy in partnering with PACS Leadership Team drive and develop a integrated market and competitor intelligence capability
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Corporate Strategy & Business Excellence and leadership team by providing insights on initiatives and priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, underwriting, marketing, and IT, to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Partner with all divisions to Develop business cases to support new initiatives and investments
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to build consensus and drive change
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in Singapore life insurance industry, organic and inorganic
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of market and competitive intelligence initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and adjust as needed.
- Stay up to date with industry news, regulations, and emerging technologies that may impact the life insurance industry
**Profile and experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- At least 7 years of experience in a deals, strategy advisory role in the Consulting or life insurance / Finance industry
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with market research, financial modeling, and data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic initiatives
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the life insurance industry
**ORGANISATION CONTEXT**:
In this role, you will play a crucial role in delivering Strategy Advisory Products, driving our Strategy development and decisioning, this will include very close collaboration across the division as a trusted advisor, supporting the execution of mission critical initiatives. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in this dynamic role.
