Position Overview

This role is responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resources (HR) functions and will be leading regional teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam & Thailand, actively and strategically partnering the leaders and line managers to drive organizational success in an effective, efficient and compliant manner, providing comprehensive HR advisory services and operational support relating to the entire employee life cycle for the local office, ensuring the availability of competent people resources in the organization by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations, HR policies, programs, and practices. The role reports into the Group Head of HR with matrix reporting to the Regional Managing Director.

Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for the effective day-to-day business partnering of the full spectrum of HR functions including but not limited to Performance Management, Learning and Talent Development, Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, HR Service Delivery and Payroll.
- Achieve project objectives/deliverables by contributing inputs and developing recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems; determining and implementing program/process/system improvements
- Analyse and discuss with line managers manpower requirements based on business objectives, requirements and processes and helps to put into practice the organization structure.
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers/ supervisors to coach and educate employees on business requirements.

Day-to-Day Duties & Tasks
- Assist with day-to-day HR operation functions and duties while maintaining current HR files and databases
- Supports the on-boarding and conducting employee orientations on benefits, upcoming programs/initiatives
- Drive employee engagement activities regionally and assist to improve internal communication processes
- Promote activities that will enhance engagement, happiness, and mental well-being across the region

**Requirements**:

- Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
- Have at least ten (10) years of working experience, preferably within the consumer goods and/ or retail industry in a supervisory position within the Human Resources department
- Have demonstrated an experience and knowledge of Human Resources administrative best practices, Human Resources technology, and general practices
- Have had experience in business process optimization with significant exposure in review processes that lead to the identification of redundancies or inefficiencies
- Are highly organized, have an ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, have excellent negotiation skills, be self-motivated working under mínimal supervision, and be service-oriented
- Have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
- Can influence top departmental leadership and management. Will, therefore, be likeable and relatable, inspiring trust in others, and demonstrating an organic ability to establish strong and meaningful relationships with others
