Ib English Literature Educator

We celebrate cultural diversity and global perspectives. We are looking for an IB English Literature educator to inspire students with the richness of world literature.

**Teaching duties**:

- Teach IB English Literature at both MYP and DP levels.
- Expose students to a variety of genres, authors, and cultural contexts in literature.
- Train students in analytical writing and critical thinking within English Literature.
- Guide students through internal and external IB assessment requirements.Contribute to curriculum enrichment activities in literature and the arts.

**Non-teaching duties**:

- Participate in professional duties as necessary outside of the scope of the school day (e.g. Field trips, professional development on weekends as needed, and after school meetings as required)
- Supervise duties at break/lunch and/or other unstructured times
- Lead/coach an after school CCA (co-curricular activity)Assist in internal sub coverage according to department needs

**Requirements**:

- Degree in English, Literature or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience in IB English Literature.
- Ability to connect literature to contemporary issues and student experiences.Strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities.
