Global Schools Holdings, a leading school operator with over 40 campuses in 10+ countries, is seeking an investment professional to serve as Director, Corporate Finance (“DCF”) in the Investment Office. After over 20 years of building and acquiring schools across Asia, the Middle East and Europe, the group is accelerating its network growth across these core regions. With extensive banking and financier support, GSH will invest over US$500 million in new schools over the next five years. With over 450 global quality awards attesting to the group’s strong management ethos, sustainability mindset and academic prowess, GSH expects to be a global leader in K-12 education.

Based in Singapore, the DCF will support the core leadership team of GSH and will help the Investment Office in developing, executing, and financing the GSH growth strategy. The DCF will also assist the integration and finance teams in ensuring that new additions to the group’s networks are efficiently integrated into the overall MIS and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Chief Investment Officer and senior leadership in developing the overall growth strategy for GSH
- Creating Investor Relation documentation to communicate the key strengths, history, prospects and strategy of GSH to potential financing partners
- Posssesing a strong international network to assist in identifying, contacting and interacting with potential financing partners (investment bankers, commercial bankers, credit funds, private equity funds, institutional investors, etc.) to maintain continued access to capital sources to fund the growth strategy
- Maintain constant internal dialogue with the Finance Controller’s office as well as relevant operational departments to effectively communicate GSH financial strengths and strategic vision
- Monitoring compliance with all relevant financial covenants and reporting requirements under various financing documents
- Provide support to senior leadership team as needed with new acquisitions, investments and financings, both in Asia and in new overseas markets
- Assist as needed with acquisition processes through coordination with sell-side partners, due diligence providers and legal advisors
- Work with in-house integration teams, due diligence vendors and inhouse investment team members in assuring successful integration of newly-acquired assets into the overall financial reporting and management systems

**Key Requirements:
- To succeed in this role, you should have at least 8-10 years of experience as a CFO or Director of Finance, ideally in the education sector. You should also have strong investor relations skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- A qualified Chartered Accountant or an MBA
- Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining Investor Relations functions in investment offices
- Experience with strategic financial planning, modelling and acquisitions
- Ability to navigate financial complexity to communicate effectively with key stakeholders
- Extensive experience of engagement with senior business management at partner/Board level
- Significant experience with maintaining banking and investor relationships in multiple jurisdictions and regions
