Client Details

With ongoing investment in emerging technologies and partnerships, we have embarked on a transformation journey to drive digitisation and growth. In view of the ongoing transformation plans, we are now looking for a Corporate Finance, Director / Senior Director with strong commercial experience to join the corporate finance team.

Description

You will lead and oversee the strategic planning, execution, and integration of mergers and acquisitions as well as divestitures. This role involves managing all aspects of the M&A process, from identifying potential targets or buyers, conducting financial and strategic analysis, to negotiating and structuring deals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading due diligence processes, financial modeling, and valuation analysis.
  • Developing and executing M&A strategies in alignment with business objectives.
  • Managing negotiations, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and evaluating potential acquisition or partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless deal execution and integration.
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as investment bankers, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, business strategy, and negotiation, along with significant experience in managing complex transactions. Candidates must have a combination of either Big 4 or investment banking in their earlier career and subsequently moving into in-house corporate M&A advisory experience. You are a strong communicator with excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills. This person should be highly motivated, versatile, and agile to dynamic changes.
