ABOUT THE ROLE
The Talent Acquisition Lead is the key unlock of the country’s Talent agenda, bringing a holistic view of both internal and external talent and breaks down traditional hiring options to provide innovative sourcing solution that is not only cost effective but delivers high performing talent in the fastest ways.
The Talent Acquisition Lead builds strong connectivity with the local HR Director and business VP to build a cross channel activation and talent sourcing that will be executed by local TA Teams and the TA sourcing hubs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage internal and external recruitment
- Manage talent mapping and talent pipeline in-market
- Create and maintain talent knowledge
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities across talent
- Support local HR Strategic Agenda
- Work with HR Business Partners and Talent Management team to deliver workforce plans, determine key roles that require short-term and long-term talent pipeline and create internal and external talent pools
- Own and manage the internal and external Talent sourcing channels and educate business and HR leaders on the various sources of Talent and how to optimize these according to specific Talent needs; lead the internal activation of key internal and external channels such as Be Resourceful, Flex and LinkedIn
- Lead the local TA team and work with the Recruitment Analyst and Talent Sourcers in the Regional Operational Hub in delivering excellent Talent performance results: speed on Time to Offer Acceptance, reduce Hard To Fill Roles, and Employee Index Score of 4 out of 5
- Participate in company’s strategic planning regarding employee development and engagement
- Help find opportunities for senior leaders to actively connect with talent, speak at events and promote Unilever
- Provide direction, consultation and education to hiring managers on hiring process and methodologies
- Understands the internal talent mobility, succession plans and gaps
- Pivots from FTE role
- based hiring to Skill based recruiting e.g.) can break down traditional FTE roles into skills and output across our routes to talent
- Flow to Work - Agile ways to fill the most critical roles in the most resourceful ways
- Senior Appointments: Responsible for executive recruitment
- Mid-Career Appointments: Responsible for recruitment of selected functions
- Lead Global Project /Restructures e.g.) Tate, Tea, Sphinx
- Brings external market insights and data to shape hiring strategies
- Is an advocate of EI&D and delivers the local diversity hiring targets for the market
- Own the EI&D Recruitment and Selection sourcing strategy, working with selected vendors to ensure a fair, transparent and diverse hiring process

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience as Talent Advisor and/or HRBP within a matrix organization; 2+ years as Team Lead
- Has a genuine passion for Talent Acquisition and demonstrated track record in delivering Talent Management solutions that drive business performance
- Ability to anticipate needs, advise and solve problems proactively
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Collaborative team player
- Genuine interest in new technologies and tools and tech savvy
- Strong organisation skills as well as attention to detail and diligence
- Strong external network is a plus (i.e. knowing the market)
- Sound knowledge of talent market is preferable
