**General Descriptions
A Project Engineering Director is responsible for all the technical aspects of project implementation and commissioning. Project Engineering Director leads a team of System Engineers to support the Project Director in the implementation process by taking part and leading the related implementation activities based on the customer's environment and needs. During the design phase of a project, the PE Director is required to lead the technical discussions with both vendors and end customers. Subsequently, PE Director is responsible for leading the creation of various documentation such as low-level design documents, user acceptance test documents and network diagrams. During implementation, the PE Director’s role is to lead the implementation team to resolve any challenges related to technical aspects for successful implementation and commissioning.

The company is searching for a team-oriented player who can understand the requirements, environment and has the technical competency to lead the team to successful implementation activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Technical competency to lead and coach implementation team to overcome challenges encountered during implementations
- Work closely with project management team and vendors to ensure successful project commissioning
- Gather technical requirements from Pre-Sales team and customer, and devise implementation solutions
- Provide and design high quality technical low-level solution engineering documents that would meet customer’s requirements in a timely manner
- Attend to technical challenges faced by team during implementations to provide guidance to the team
- Work with vendors and principals to resolve all technical issues encountered during implementations
- Lead discussions with various stakeholders with regards to implementation issues

**Experience & Knowledge**
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in telecommunication, either in cybersecurity, big data analytics, IMS, IP telephony or data networking industry within the APAC region as technical team lead or other Directorial position
- In-depth telecommunication, IP telephony, virtualization, database, Linux Operating Systems and data networking domain knowledge
- Professional certification in the respective areas will be considered favourably

- Ability to resolve technical problems on their own or with help from vendors.
- A highly motivated, result-orientated and dedicated person who initiates appropriate actions and strategies
- Independent and can work without constant direction and close supervision.
- Capable of functioning effectively in hectic and fast-paced work environments
- Strong interests in keeping up-to-date with current technologies
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate other team members to work towards a common goal
- Good command of English language in verbal and written communication
- Willing to travel on short notice
