**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that the quality of food served meets the highest standards appropriate to each area.
- Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all dishes in collaboration with a Chef de Partie.
- Maintain hygiene control through adherence to the cleaning schedule.
- Take responsibility for stocks and control wastage in accordance with company standards.
- Assist in maintaining and improving upon budgeted food cost.
- Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
- Promptly rectify any guest complaints and communicate them to the Head Chef.
- Assist the Head Chef in fulfilling their duties to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
- Carry out cleaning within your department, maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Take responsibility for ordering all fresh produce and dry goods for kitchen use.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or similar role.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene standards, and food quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
