**The Role**
As the Asia Services Strategy and Operations Manager, you will focus on 2 main themes:
1) Process optimization: You will define, optimize, and execute new processes to support our Asia-wide Services team doubling in size. You will improve our onboarding, learning, and operational processes to increase efficiency, individual accountability, and data quality.
2) Services Operations: You will ensure that our Consultants across Asia (Australia, Singapore, China, Japan, and Korea) perform their daily activities with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You will support the Forecast and Bookings activities.
You will be the thought partner of the VP of Asia Services (based in Singapore). Reporting to the VP directly, you will have the opportunity to observe how leaders think and work, and understand how to run a Services organization and a P&L.
You will have space to grow in an environment where risk-taking is encouraged. You will also learn more about the life sciences industry and how Veeva makes it easier for pharma companies to get drugs to market faster, which helps those that are sick get better faster and makes ultimately the world a healthier place faster.
**What You’ll Do**
- Ensure a high level of data quality through close monitoring of field activities
- Define, optimize, and execute the process to support Asia-wide Services at scale
- Empower Services first-line managers with good reports and insights
- Support the monthly and quarterly Bookings and Forecast initiatives
- Build an Asia-wide resource management strategy and coordinate it on a day-to-day basis
- Accelerate the contribution of new hires by building an efficient onboarding program
- Maintain and improve the Training curricula for Consultants
- Facilitate communications with subcontractors around contracting and invoicing questions
- Participate in global services operational initiatives such as the roll-out of Salesforce Lightning
- Simplify and automate our internal process whenever possible
- No travel is required, opportunities for occasional travel
**Requirements**:
- Experience working successfully in a rapidly changing and cross-cultural environment
- Experience with a Professional Services organization
- Demonstrated experience in identifying inefficiencies, designing processes, and driving changes
- Strong communication skills
- Is persistent and does not take a ‘No’ for an answer
- Highly organized as the role touches many facets of our services operations
- High level of proficiency with Excel (i.e. pivot tables, not macros)
- Bachelor’s degree
**Nice to Have**
- Fluent in either Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean
- Experience with revenue forecasting and financial procedures
- Experience in project management or consulting
