**Position Summary**

Agora's Developer Evangelist will be our functional ambassador, trainer and guide-to-all-things for the developer community. As a partner to our Sales/BD, Engineering, Marketing and Product teams, deliver outstanding content, technical expertise and support in a variety of formats for all relevant audiences.

The mission of the Developer Evangelist team is to win the hearts and minds of Developers to secure the future of the platform. As a Developer Evangelist, you'll be instrumental in building a large and vibrant community for Agora real-time communication cloud services. You'll build and nurture great relationships with developers online and offline, create amazing sample codes, be our developer ambassador, trainer and guide-to-all-things for the developer community. You will also be a key partner to our Sales/BD, Engineering, Marketing and Product teams, delivering outstanding content and feedback to internal teams to improve developer experience.

**Qualifications - Frontend**
- 3+ years writing SPAs using React and TypeScript.
- 1+ year writing React native apps.
- Understanding of Hooks
- Experience with SSR frameworks like Next.js
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like jest.
- Experience writing custom webpack configs
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English.

**Bonus qualifications**
- Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
- Experience with mobile development like Android/IOS
- Experience with Desktop development like WinRT (C#) / Mac apps (Swift)

**Responsibilities - Frontend**
- Plan, develop and shape new features by collaborating with users, stakeholders and other team members.
- Develop frontend modules in React along with testing and documentation.
- Collaborate on PRs and review code with your team members.
- Interest in learning and improving your own technical skills by reading code, documentation, running experiments and talking to your colleagues

**Qualifications - Backend**
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Back-end development focused on performance, scalability and reliability across cloud environments (AWS is preferred)
- Understanding, designing, and architecting modern, scalable, fault tolerant SaaS frameworks.
- Experience with SQL based database solutions (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite etc.).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks.
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Experience deploying services using docker.
- Bonus qualifications
- Prior experience ensuring compliance with GDPR and other regulations

**Responsibilities - Backend**

- Develop backend modules in GoLang along with testing and documentation.
- Collaborate on PRs and review code with your team members.
- Interest in learning and improving your own technical skills by reading code, documentation, running experiments and talking to your colleagues
