We are looking for a motivated Solar Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll drive residential solar system sales by working directly with homeowners, assessing their energy needs, and providing tailored solar solutions. You will blend technical expertise with strong sales skills to promote solar energy and guide customers through the buying process.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales & Business Development**:

- Target residential customers via inbound, referrals, and outbound prospecting.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate solar potential.
- Educate customers on solar benefits, cost savings, and environmental impact.
- Offer customized solar solutions based on energy needs, budget, and roof structure.
- Present proposals with cost estimates, savings projections, and financing options.
- Lead sales from inquiry to close, ensuring a positive customer experience.

**Technical Expertise**:

- Assess feasibility for solar installations at residential properties.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure system specifications are met.
- Simplify technical information for non-technical customers.
- Stay updated on solar technology, trends, and incentives.

**Customer Relationship Management**:

- Build long-term client relationships, ensuring post-sale satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns and objections promptly.
- Keep track of competitors and market trends.

**Collaboration & Reporting**:

- Work with installation teams for smooth project execution.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and timelines.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to company growth.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in sales or technical roles, ideally in solar or energy.
- Strong understanding of solar technology and residential systems.
- Proven ability to build relationships and sell solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales software.
- Knowledge of local solar incentives and financing options is a plus.
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.

**Additional Skills (Desirable)**:

- Experience with solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope).
- Previous sales experience in residential or energy industries.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
