Type: Contract 6-months (Renewable Basis)

Role Overview:
As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, including transactions, payroll, and reconciliations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- AR : Issue sales invoices, record sales receipts, sales reconciliation etc.
- AP: Record vendors’ invoices and preparing vendors’ payments etc.
- Handle bank reconciliation.
- Responsible for employee claims and reimbursements processing.
- Handle intercompany billing and reconciliation.
- Preparation of month-end closing with accounting schedules.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and statements.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
- Preparing and analyzing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial information.
- Assisting in the planning and development of accounting and reporting processes to ensure compliance.
- Collaborating with the Human Resources team to align financial management and employee records and benefits.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years relevant experience in finance or accounting preferably in a financial control or auditing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to interpret financial information.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Experience in the broadcast or media industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of tax compliance, corporate tax, withholding tax and GST.
- Bilingual in both English and Chinese is a must as frequent liaising with stakeholders from China and Taiwan
