**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Associate, Procurement will support activities involve in the purchasing and procurement of goods and services for our Business partners. In addition, he/she will be assigned a category to support all entities. He/She will negotiate with vendors to ensure that a fair price for goods and services are being received and ensure compliance of procurement policies for all purchases.

The roles and responsibilities include:

- Execute daily purchasing and procurement activities for the business unit
- Act as the primary support for all purchases and serve as point of contact in liaising with vendors and end users on purchasing matters including raising of purchase requisition
- Source, negotiate, buy and contract Opex and Capex items and services
- Process required documentation on purchases
- Monitor all supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of all products and services
- Resolve issues pertaining to category purchase, vendor and business partner
- Maintain databases and keep track of all records pertaining to purchases
- Support other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma/Degree with 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing and procurement, preferably in health and community care
- Knowledge of eProcurement System preferably in SAP
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills
- Team player and willingness to learn and adapt to changes
- Self-driven and problem solver

**OTHER INFORMATION**

Experience with SAP Hana/S4 modules relating to materials and inventory management.
