**Role Summary**

This role is based in Singapore and requires on-site presence 2-3 days a week, collaborating closely with local teams. The team operates across global time zones, so flexibility with working hours, including occasional collaboration in EST, is expected.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop responsive and high-quality user interfaces using React
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services
- Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, functional components
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements
- Ensure adherence to UI/UX design standards and accessibility best practices
- Debug and resolve technical issues across different browsers and devices
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development

**Requirements and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a frontend developer
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), React, and associated libraries (Redux, React Router, etc.)
- Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
- Familiarity with tools such as Webpack, Babel, and modern build pipelines
- Experience in hybrid team environments and Agile/Scrum methodology
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
- Comfortable working with global teams and occasionally flexible with time zones

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience in financial services or banking environments
- Familiarity with backend technologies and willingness to work in fullstack teams
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js, or other React ecosystems
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Understanding of frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress)
- Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Experience with performance profiling, accessibility audits, or headless CMS

**Work Arrangement**
- Location: Singapore (Hybrid - 2-3 days/week in office).
- Working Hours: Primarily local time, with occasional flexibility required for EST time zone collaboration.
