Senior Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager’s role is to be responsible for the growth and further development of EON Reality’s customer base in the region of Europe actively targeting new business opportunities in mainly education sectors but also enterprise.
The primary responsibilities will be to generate leads and secure the sales of EON’s AVR Platform and solutions education and Industry in the region of Europe.
The Business Development Manager will also assist EON in facilitating relationships with the local authorities (local, regional and national governments), the local education organizations such as universities, and identifying financial sources to facilitate the sales.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Meet or exceed sales and revenue objectives as defined by management
- Expand EON client network and drive strategic new business with Singapore Government, MNCs, and SMEs.
- Work with our existing business development and marketing team to gain a full
- Understanding of the VR/AR solutions offered by EON Reality and appreciate the need they fulfill within the market
- Identify key target markets and specific prospects
- Quickly gain a credible knowledge of VR / AR as learning and communications, knowledge-transfer solutions
- Generate outbound sales call targets in a proactive, professional manner, feeding the early part of the sales pipeline
- Turn early interest into qualified appointments for demos or meetings with interested parties
- Confidently and competently deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospected leads talking with interest and knowledge about the VR / AR marketplace
- Carry out market, prospect, and competitor research as defined by the management team
- Conduct custom demonstrations, presentations, and proposals
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with the clients and Partners
**Required Skills**:
- Tenacious and resilient with a calm and confident mannerism for phone and in-person meetings
- Competitive, driven, and can work as part of a professional, focused team
- Educated to degree level and is accustomed to over-achieving
- Fantastic communication skills, both verbal and written
- Consultative through and through. Able to actively listen to potential client needs and build interest in EON Reality solutions through creating inspirational and considered approaches with clients of all levels
- Experience leading web meetings (i.e. GoToMeeting, Zoom, Google Meet)
- Prior experience selling technology solutions required - preferably training/education solutions
- Organized and structured in approach, managing time effectively
- Not afraid to focus heavily on cold calling lead generation
- Previous B2B business development experience required
- Genuine creativity and a strong interest in innovation and technology
- Strong ability to collaborate with team members and clients alike. Naturally sociable and able to bring people together
- Self-motivated and driven
- Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly
- Results-oriented and able to work with mínimal direct supervision as well as independently
**Additional Information**:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Tech-savvy - not afraid to roll sleeves up and seek to understand new technology solutions
- Prior use of CRM or other sales database systems (SalesForce preferred)
- Ability to travel to client sites, meetings, and trade shows
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SaaS sales for education and/or enterprise
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
- A multi-lingual preferred
