Singapore Ministry of Social and Family Development Full time

The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) serves as the regulatory and developmental agency for the early childhood sector in Singapore, overseeing key aspects of children's development below the age of 7, across both kindergartens and childcare centres.

We are looking for a dynamic, resourceful and highly-driven individual to join our Sector Outreach (SO) team. Some of the initiatives by the Sector Outreach team include:

- Start Small, Dream Big (SSDB)
- Industry Digitalization Plan (IDP)
- Preschool Search Portal
- Early Childhood Physical/Virtual Career Fairs/ Webinars

You are required to assist the various officers on the above-mentioned projects (including those not listed above) in the following areas:

- Implementation and development of the projects;
- Liaising with the various stakeholders such as the educators operators, parents, vendors.
- Answering and managing feedback and enquires from public, parents and preschool operators.
- Sourcing of quotations and assisting in the procurements for projects and programmes.
- Logistics and administrative follow-ups for our events.

You will drive the sector outreach initiatives to enhance partnerships between ECDA and its stakeholders, to raise the importance of early childhood education and to promote a positive image for the Sector.

**Job Requirements**:

- Good tertiary education in related discipline, preferably in social sciences, computer sciences, communications and media or equivalent
- Strong interest and passion in the early childhood sector
- Able to work independently
- Possesses basic IT knowledge and computer-related skills e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel Office, Powerpoint
- Good understanding of Singapore's early childhood sector/landscape will have an advantage
- Preferably have some experience in events management
- Preferably have graphic designing capability (illustrator/photoshop) for crafting eDM, FB posts, e-posters, etc.
