DESIGNATION : Security and Operations Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES

The job holder reports directly to the Principal.

The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- **Operations**
- Conducts daily inspection of the entire school compound for cleanliness, safety and maintenance;
- Liaise with external vendors including government agencies, contractors and pest control.
- Plan and carry out regular preventive maintenance of facilities including air-condition servicing, maintenance of painting and cleaning of all facilities in the school;
- Manage external vendors and contractors on-site maintenance works and their contracts in terms of work completion and thorough cleanliness;
- Handle feedback from Principal and Teachers, and provide prompt responses within the same day;
- Supervise contractors and team of support staff, ensuring their full attendance and to keep proper records of their attendance.
- Monitor performance of outsourced cleaning staff to ensure that they are cleaning the assigned zones and meet the high cleaning standards set and that cleaning equipment and chemicals are stored safely.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Handle procurement of maintenance or minor renovation works relating to school’s facilities.
- Identify training needs, prepare training plan and maintain training records of all staff.
- Work together with school’s management team to plan, execute school events, and activities such as open house, concert, graduation ceremonies and other ad-hoc projects to support the room set-up of furniture and tear down of decorations.
- Be in-charge of all matters relating to the school’s facilities and operations management.
- Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned.

**Security**
- Develop and review security processes and operations procedures.
- Plan and schedule the daily operations of all security officers, to ensure that all areas are properly and adequately secured at all times.
- Conduct regular checks on officers and patrol of the school.
- Work and coordinate with the school leadership to implement security measures and procedures.
- Keep abreast to security regulations and implement relevant policies and trainings to ensure the school meets high security standards.
- Enforce discipline and report incidents.
- Assist with any investigations as required.
- Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess Diploma in Building Services or Facilities Management
- At least 5 years of related working experience, preferably in school environment or similar;
- Self-driven and committed individual with excellent follow up;
- Results oriented and able to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal, communication skills and fluent in spoken and written English;
