**Responsibilities**:
**THE ROLE**:
We are looking for a strong Employee Relations Manager who can lead the APJ region’s Employee Relations and HR Operations. The individual’s key role is to maintain positive relationships with employees though proactive employee relations. This role will be reporting to APAC Region ER and HR Operations Leader.
**THE PERSON**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**:
- You will be leading Employee Relations and HR Operations for the APJ region while managing a brilliant team
- We are looking for a trusted advisor for both employees and management
- You will be handling and responding to HR policies or practices, questions and issues. Lead or participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance to managers in cases involving performance counseling, attendance, or other policy violations, including disciplinary recommendations and associated documentation.
- You will conduct investigations regarding allegations of unfair management practices, ethical concerns, harassment, discrimination and other issues.
- Partnering with legal counsel would also be required as needed.
- Maintain good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction.
- Analyze data to identify ER trends to predict and prevent issues. Proactively provide formal and informal training on ER and compliance matters, including performance and harassment.
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:
- We are looking for an experienced APJ Employee Relations Manager covering key markets like Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and Korea.
- We have a motivated team of ER Country HR Operations and looking for a brilliant manager to work closely with them.
- Experience working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
- Experience with remote and matrix management
- Experience working with Labour Laws and compliance related activities
- Competencies
- Expertise in APJ Employee Relations, laws and compliance requirements
- Objective and trusted advisor; credible employee advocate
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization, including HR and Business Leaders
- Strong interpersonal and people leadership skills focused on coaching and collaboration
- Cross-cultural competence: ability to work on a global team
- Excellent communication and articulation skills
**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:
- Bachelor’s degree within Business/ HR or related field required.
- Post Graduate degree / MBA preferred
