Singapore National Arthritis Foundation Full time

The National Arthritis Foundation (NAF) is a IPC-status charitable body set up in 1984 to provide support to arthritis sufferers. In addition to providing medical subsidies to arthritis patients, we also engage and educate patients and the community in our mission to combat arthritis in Singapore. We are hiring an Events & Community Engagement Executive to execute fundraising events and create outreach and/or volunteer programmes by engaging with patients and our target audience.

Role & Responsibilities:
**Community Engagement
- Elevate NAF’s branding and credibility through various activities to achieve increased donor/participant retention and engagement
- Initialise a corporate pledging plan through devising corporate partnership/CSR programme
- Engaging the Medical Social Workers of various hospitals to ensure NAF’s relevance to the hospitals’ arthritis patients
- Consistently interacting with our beneficiaries through the implementation of a patient engagement programme
- Devise volunteer and/or social programmes as an avenue for community and corporate CSR participation with the mission of elevating NAF’s branding and awareness

**Events/Prgrammes:
- Work with Fundraising Head to execute events to support our fundraising goals
- Independently organise activities and workshops to add value to our patient support groups
- Assist in the upkeep of existing communications platforms, including the use of social media assets to publicise our events and encourage participation
- Contribute to other duties within the spirit and purpose of the role

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years working experience in events management, fundraising or community partnerships.
- Digital native, efficient and effective in using social media for business.
- Meticulous, resourceful, and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess a proactive attitude, display drive and enthusiasm in carrying out projects to conclusion.
- Display creativity, imagination and an entrepreneurial attitude towards fundraising.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines.
- Possess a heart for making a difference to the community.
