**COMPANY DESCRIPTION**

As a member of the Children and Youth Group (CYG) management team, you will be crucial in ensuring that the facilities and ancilliary operations for CYG services are well planned and run. These include 2 children’s homes in Lorong Napiri and Pasir Panjang and 1 youth drop-in Centre in Kallang Bahru. You will oversee a team of seven. You are expected to help in formulating goals, objectives, strategies and action plans for the Home as well as their implementation, monitoring and evaluation to ensure their effectiveness, relevancy and consistency with the mission and vision of The Salvation Army.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervise a team of Operations executives/assistants who will ensure the children’s homes’ building, facilities and key equipment are well managed and safe.
- Oversee cooks and vendors to ensure balanced meals and beverages are properly sourced and provided for the residents of the children’s homes.
- Coordinate with relevant personnel and contractors to provide security and maintain safety requirements of the residential homes.
- Ensure the cleaners maintain general cleanliness of common areas, there is proper disposal of domestic wastes and estate maintenance of the Homes.
- Oversee and render transport support through effective scheduling and oversee drivers
- Proper store management (food, IT equipment etc.) and stock or furnishing purchases aligned with effective cost management.
- Oversee administration and coordination with vendors for the Home Management System and other similar systems and assist in data risk management work.
- Review of procedures in a timely manner.
- Oversee facilities and management of all other CYG premises such as our youth drop-in Centre.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
Diploma/Degree in Estate Management

With 2 or 3 years of supervisory experience

**OTHER INFORMATION**
**Working hours**

44 hours per week.

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:
8.30am to 5.30pm (Monday - Friday, 1 hour lunch)

The program is a 24/7 community care service, hence flexibility in work arrangement is expected.
